Welcome to MicoliCoon Cattery!

MicoliCoon Cattery is a Maine Coon breeder located primarily in San Diego County, California. Our love of the Maine Coon breed quickly spread throughout our family. Now, we share our cattery with my mom, who runs our North Las Vegas location. Our name, MicoliCoon, is a melding of the names of the women in our family. MicoliCoon is a family, woman, and veteran owned Maine Coon cattery. Our locations are also our homes where our cats and kittens run underfoot. For the safety and health of our family and our cats, we do not offer visiting hours. However, we are happy to chat by phone and/or meet adopting families in a public, outdoor space.

Our goal is to maintain the amazing temperament and stunning appearance of this magnificent breed. We brough home our first Maine Coon with the intention of making him an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) for our autistic daughter. After seeing the positive effect he had on her, we knew that we had to provide the same opportunity for others. Unfortunately, our first breeding cats arrived ill. One passed away in less than two weeks and the other was a carrier of four genetic diseases. This why health and genetic testing is a vital part of our breeding program. MicoliCoon Cattery is dedicated to following a responsible and ethical breeding program and adhere to The International Cat Association (TICA) and the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) code of ethics. All our cats are thoroughly tested for genetic health defects and illness, to include, but not limited to HCM, SMA, PKD, hip dysplasia, and more.
